3D DESIGN: digital design

Objectives

The workshop introduces participants to the world of 3D design through hands-on, creative activities. Participants will discover the fundamentals of 3D modeling, its potential across various design and digital creativity contexts, and its many applications—ranging from industrial design and digital graphics to 3D printing.

Activities

The workshop begins with an introduction to key concepts of 3D design and printing, looking at the most commonly used materials and the processes for recycling them. Participants will use 3D doodle pens to transform two-dimensional drawings into small three-dimensional objects—such as animals or geometric shapes—depending on their age.
