Information pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”)
on the processing of personal data in the context of participation in STEP events

 

STEP is a project 'inspired by Fastweb'. We therefore inform you that Fastweb is the “controller” of the personal data processing, which we carry out pursuant to EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (the “Regulation") to offer you the best possible experience at STEP.

The security of your data is important to us and we want you to feel protected and informed at all times.

We want our relationship with you to be based on transparency and trust. We believe these are fundamental values and we uphold them to give you the best during your STEP experience.

STEP is a FuturAbility District, a space to connect with the future, where you can take an interactive tour to discover your "FuturAbility", i.e. your propensity for the future and the ongoing digital transformation.

You can also take part in our scientific and cultural events touching on digital issues, along with Sunday workshops for families.

The data we process:

We process the data that you have provided to us during the purchase of tickets:

  1. Name and Surname
  2. Date of birth
  3. Address
  4. Tax Code
  5. E-mail address
  6. Telephone number
  7. STEP and Fastweb marketing consent (optional)
  8. Information relating to membership in associations or organizations that entitle you to a discounted ticket (optional)

For what purposes?

  1. So you can participate in STEP and we can provide you with all the information you’ll need for your STEP experience and your participation in our programme of scientific and cultural events.
  2. With your optional, explicit and revocable consent, we may use your data to inform you about other STEP initiatives and those of its partner companies and to keep you updated on our scientific and cultural events.
  3. Moreover, with your consent, which is optional, explicit and revocable at any time, we can also keep you updated on Fastweb’s services, offers and products, offering you benefits and promotions. 
  4. In case you have provided us with the data mentioned in point 8 above, we may use them to carry out checks on the lawful use of the access pass.

Consent for the data processing described in points 2) and 3) above is optional and will enable you to receive informational or commercial communications from STEP and Fastweb. You may decide whether to give or withdraw each individual consent at any time. 

In any case, there are no consequences should you decide to deny or withdraw your consent (however, the operations carried out before consent was withdrawn remain valid and lawful). Bear in mind that communications may be sent by e-mail, text message and phone, and that you may always exercise your right to object in the manner set out below.

For how long?

In the absence of the additional consent referred to in points 2) or 3), the data relating to point 1) will be stored only for the period strictly necessary to allow you to participate in the STEP events for which you have purchased and/or booked a ticket, and in any case for no longer than 72 hours after your participation.

The data referred to in points 2) and 3) will be kept for a maximum period of 24 months.

With whom may we share your data?

In order to provide the Ticketing service, we use a selected third-party provider:

  • Civita Mostre e Musei S.p.A., with registered office in Rome, Piazza Venezia no. 11, appointed as External Data Processor.
  • T.O.S.C.- TicketOne Sistemi Culturali S.r.l., with registered office in Rome, via Giovanni Giolitti no. 287c, appointed as Sub External Data Processor

We may also disclose your data:

(a) to all entities (including Public Authorities) that have access to personal data as a result of regulatory or administrative measures; 
b) to third-party companies for the sole purpose of correctly providing the services you have purchased through the STEP website and APP 

Security and the correct retention of your data are of fundamental importance to us to prevent unauthorised or illegal processing/destruction and the accidental loss of data. This is why the processing is carried out in compliance with appropriate security measures, by Fastweb, as data controller, and by its external data processors. The processing is carried out manually and/or electronically.

What are your rights?

You have the right to request access to your personal data, their rectification and deletion, the restriction of processing concerning you and to object to such processing in accordance with Articles 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

As mentioned above, with respect to information processing for promotional and commercial purposes (purpose 2), you have the right to object and withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given prior to the withdrawal. You may withdraw your consent in your personal MySTEP area of the app or on our website steptothefuture.it, or by contacting the contact points indicated below.

You also have the right to send a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Authority. You can find information on how to do so on the Authority’s website.
