Hives 2.0: A Technological Adventure for the Future!

Bees are true bio-indicators, insects that help us monitor the health of our environment. Did you know that 70% of plant species and 35% of global food production depend on them? Without bees, our world would be decidedly emptier and less colorful!

But don't worry, technology is here to help us take care of them.

Have you ever heard of "smart hives"? Want to learn more about this fascinating world?

Then you can't miss our workshop where we'll design and build prototypes of smart hives and reflect together on how technology can help us protect bees and our planet. What do you say, are you ready for a truly sweet adventure?

Activities

• Phase 1: Designing the smart hive, focusing on structure, sensors, etc.
• Phase 2: Model Construction: Using provided materials, children will build a model of their smart hive.
• Phase 3: Presentation and Discussion: Each participant presents their smart hive, explaining how it works and what problems it solves.

We'll conclude the experience with a reflection on how technology can help us create a more sustainable world and care for bees and our planet. How can we protect bees and our environment through technology? What can we do on a personal level? What new ideas can we come up with for the future?

How to take part

Children under the age of 14 can only take part if accompanied by a responsible adult, subject to the completion of the consent form available from the ticket office.

Tickets, free of charge, must be booked online in advance, subject to availability, and are required for both participants and guardians.
