What lies behind the food we find on supermarket shelves every day, and how do people work behind the scenes to ensure its healthiness, nutritional profile and excellent flavour?
Let's find out together! We will play with natural colours and the endless combinations we can achieve. But that's not all: we will have fun studying the world of hydrocolloids by working on texture and creating coloured alginate spheres... the ones we find in the now famous bubble tea that we love so much!

Experiment 1
Natural colourings: after a brief explanation of the origin of these products, participants will be able to create their own coloured solutions using single colours or having fun mixing them together to create an infinite number of colours.

Experiment 2
Bubble tea: we will use the colours we have invented, adding them drop by drop to a magic solution to create the gelatinous balls of bubble tea, each in our favourite colour!

How to take part

Children under the age of 14 can only take part if accompanied by a responsible adult, subject to the completion of the consent form available from the ticket office.

Tickets, free of charge, must be booked online in advance, subject to availability, and are required for both participants and guardians.
