The responsibility for words: Who really writes in the age of AI?

Workshop

This activity is only available in italian

Perhaps Artificial Intelligence has solved the anguish of the blank page forever. But is generating text enough to communicate?
In this meeting, Giovanni Acerboni and Diego Fontana compare their latest essays on the profession of writing. A dialogue in which two different and complementary approaches are challenged: on the one hand creativity, on the other, accuracy. The words that excite and explode together with the images against those that, on their own, must return an unambiguous and always understandable meaning.
Two different visions, united by a certainty: perhaps AI has taken away the exclusivity of text generation, but writing remains an essentially human tool, made to exchange knowledge and meaning between people. An event to discover how to govern this transition and what role to really give to the machine.
Because in this journey 'From pen to prompt', what makes the real difference is not who generates the characters, but who takes responsibility in front of a reader, to say: 'My word'.
