The Metaverse is the next evolution of the Internet: a 3D world, a web of interconnected experiences that go well beyond virtual reality as we know it today. A development until now limited to science fiction and video games whose effects will be seen in every sector, including the minutiae of everyday life: from work to healthcare, from teaching to personal relations. Exploring the prospects and risks of this new reality, we will discover what the Internet of tomorrow will look like, what effects this transformation will have and, above all, who the winners and losers of this irreversible revolution will be.

Alan Tonetti is CEO and founder of TaoDust, provider of the first asset tokenisation service since 2018, co-founder of Royblock, a company which combines NFT with the world of copyright and music, and co-founder of Stardust Spa, an Italian media company which has already industrialised the world of influencer marketing.Former professional journalist, author and TV presenter, European correspondent for the biggest Asian magazines, he was among the first to ride the wave of digital transformation back in 2012, bringing his expertise to a new world to help Italian SMEs develop their social presence, managing and developing pages with fanbases of millions, such as Che Fatica la Vita da Bomber, and also overseeing the communications of corporate brands like Banca Mediolanum.Fintech and mass communication expert, he was with Samsung at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Since 2018 he has been a speaker at the world’s biggest blockchain conferences and he is also creator and organiser of Dart2121, the world’s first crypto-art museum exhibition at the Museo della Permanente of Milan with over 135 works by the leading artists in the sector displayed alongside those of up-and-coming newcomers and works by great Renaissance masters such as Caravaggio.
